About ACN Financial Group

We’re a family run business that is passionate about what we do. Read how we got started and where we are now.

ACN was founded by Arnold Nyholt, who started his career with a major life insurance company in 1988. By 1994, Arnold branched out on his own to develop what is now ACN Financial Group. At ACN we strive to provide individuals, families and small businesses a personalized financial management plan to accomplish their financial goals for both now and in the future. With a growing clientele, Arnold’s late wife Connie joined the company on a full-time basis in 2013 to manage the administrative responsibilities until her passing in 2019. In 2015, their son-in-law Brad Kooy joined the company as a licensed advisor. This expansion has enhanced ACN’s capacity to provide their clients with professional financial management services.

Executive Assistant

After obtaining a B.A. at York University, Connie gained many years of experience in executive administration by working in several different industries. In 2013 she joined her husband Arnold at ACN on a full-time basis as an executive assistant. Connie was an integral part of providing administrative services to a growing company. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling, reading and learning to play the piano. She was also an active member at New Life Community Church in Brampton.

In May of 2015, Connie was diagnosed with a form of throat cancer that she fought courageously with her strong Christian faith until her passing on June 2, 2019.

What is a ‘Financial Stress Test’?

Our goal is to ensure our clients understand the amount of capital they need in the event of a sudden life event such as an unexpected illness or death. We work with our clients to determine the amount of money that would be needed and monitor these changing needs on an ongoing basis.

Is there a minimum amount to open an account?

There are no set minimums for opening an account with ACN. We take great pride in helping people get started with their savings and investment plans regardless of their age or income.
